The Leechburg Area School District is a public school district serving K-12 students from Leechburg Borough and Gilpin Township in Armstrong County, Pennsylvania, and West Leechburg Borough in Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania.

The school district consists of David Leech Elementary School, located on Siberian Avenue in Leechburg, and Leechburg Area Middle/High School, located on First Street in Leechburg.

The high school building was originally built in 1922, and the elementary building in 1955. Both school facilities underwent a major renovation in the mid-1990s. The renovation of the facilities cost approximately $12 million.

The school district is governed by a nine-member board of directors, elected at-large.
